Bimanual Technique
The two choppers are introduced through micro incisions separated by approximately 180°. The choppers retractthe capsular rim so they can catch the equator and are brought together centrally to create a bisecting crack in the nucleus, dividing it cleanly in halves and quadrants. Further pieces can be divided by using it as secondary instrument in combination with the phaco tip.
