As a manufacturer of surgical instruments and device systems for eye surgery, we offer young people the opportunity to complete an apprenticeship as a surgical mechanic (m/f/d) every year.
If you enjoy manual work and are interested in technology and medicine, then start successfully start your professional life in medical technology with this three-and-a-half-year apprenticeship.
We have been training surgical mechanics for many years and guarantee solid and professional training in a responsible trade and an industry with a future. Individual support and a structured and varied training program are a matter of course for us. And if you successfully complete your training with us, you have a good chance of being hired.

Precision job in medical technology
Our surgical mechanics manufacture, service and repair surgical instruments such as forceps, needle holders, scalpels, forceps or scissors. The specialty at Geuder: Our instruments are used in operations on the eye and are correspondingly tiny and filigree. The manufacture of these microsurgical instruments is therefore often carried out under the microscope, with the greatest concentration and extreme precision.
